Working with relational issues is at the heart of my work. Healthy relationships and connection are the key to fulfilment, motivation and wellbeing. I offer my clients a pathway to notice patterns of how they relate to their world and build understanding around their behaviours. This naturally leads to awareness which in turn will create choice, empowerment and positive change. I have specialised experience working with teenagers and young people both face to face and online as well as regularly work with adults.

I offer space for a unique journey within yourself; connecting to thoughts, feelings and behaviours through the eyes of your past, present and future self. I work creatively using kindness, compassion and understanding; first offering it inwards and then out into the world. Through safe exploration of relational patterns and life events, we will carve a pathway to gently release internal conflict; making space for acceptance, authenticity and a more grounded sense of self.

I am a relationship counsellor and play therapist. I offer counselling and psychoeducational sessions to individuals, couples and families. I have a particular expertise working with parents who struggle to support the mental health and well-being of their children.
My counselling approach combines person centred, psychodynamic and systems theories. These frameworks help to make sense of our experiences as individuals as well as in our relationships with others.
I am passionate about supporting good mental health, positive well-being, nurturing healthy relationships and facilitating personal growth.

Therapies offered include:

Relationship counselling

I am a person centred counsellor who works with an individually tailored approach to help you expand and grow in self-awareness, build on inner strength, and utilise your own unique resources to promote a greater sense of inner freedom and psychological growth.

In sessions, you and I would work in a collaborative relationship to build an insight and understanding of what is underlying the challenges that bring you to therapy. Together we look at what is causing your difficulty and how this impacts your life and well-being. We may explore implementing alternative ways of being more in tune with who you are as your true self.

I will walk alongside you to help you identify any concerns or issues that are affecting you, explore them safely and confidentially, and support you in rediscovering your inner knowing to overcome them, as I believe we are - and can be - the experts in our own lives.

We are all individuals with our own unique outlook on the world, and as an Integrative Counsellor, I use a tailored mix of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviours), Psychodynamic (understanding how past experiences might shape your present) and a Person-centred approach (with you in control), to find the best therapy for your specific needs.

I offer both short- and long-term therapy, with a free first consultation (50 mins), and will work with you either face-to-face or via phone or Zoom. I have experience in working with domestic and sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, physical illness, bereavement, concerns around diet and food, as well as the stress of just being a human being in these times. Sometimes we just need a place to download.

‘We can do hard things.’

Therapies Offered:
Integrative Counselling (CBT, Psychodynamic, Person Centred)

I work with a range of issues including bereavement, life transitions and loss, relationship challenges, work-related stress, and low self-esteem. I also have experience in offering support to clients processing the loss of a beloved pet, and I am a registered member of the Association of Pet Bereavement Counsellors.

I provide a space where you are genuinely seen, heard, and understood, whether you are dealing with anxiety, navigating tough decisions, or feeling adrift. I work in an informal, relaxed manner, offering you empathy, honesty, autonomy, and a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and how they impact you today, at a pace that is right for you.
